I totally jumped on the bandwagon with this new Zoella Beauty range! I haven’t purchased any of her previous releases, but after seeing this cute packaging literally all over my social media, I decided I needed it too.
I chose to pick up the Pink Bath Wafers, Shower Sauce, Shower Shake, Cream Scrub and Body Pudding from the Jelly & Gelato range, which all smell phenomenal. At first, I thought the elderflower, pomergranate and double cream inspired fragrance was a bit too floral for me, but after a minute or two on the skin, it smells so sweet and creamy. I’m obsessed.
I loved these Pink Bath Wafers. Not only do they look like cute ice cream wafers, the scent fills the entire house when you’ve had a bath with this.
Zoella says that these are her first moisturising bath fizzers, and they are just that – moisturising! They leave an oily residue on your skin when you get out of the bath, which I appreciate as I’m often too lazy to moisturise. You get two fizzers in a pack, so for £5, this works out as the average kind of price for a good bath bomb.
I originally wasn’t too fussed about buying the Shower Sauce because the Shower Shake was much more appealing to me. However, after smelling the range, I decided I wanted to smell like one big Jelly & Gelato so I got it anyway.
I don’t have much to report on this one. It smells great and cleans me. What more could you want from a shower gel?! I also don’t mind my boyfriend stealing this one in the shower, however I’m much more precious about the next product…
This Shower Shake is amazing. The packaging is cute, it’s easy to squeeze out in the shower, and it really does moisturise my skin as promised! This is a dream for shaving your legs as it doesn’t dry your skin out, and it feels really luxurious to use because of its thick, creamy consistency – perfect for a pamper session!
If you’re torn between trying this, or the Shower Sauce, I’d go for this one (and not just because the packaging is so adorable).
I’m on the fence with this Cream Scrub, I’ve never tried anything quite like it. To me, this has the consistency of a balm cleanser, but with a little bit of scrub thrown in.
I’m used to using scrubs that are really gritty and feel like they’re scraping off the top layer of my skin. Sometimes exfoliating scrubs can be too abrasive though, and can actually hurt and make my skin sore. So this Cream Scrub is actually a nice change! My skin does feel soft and exfoliated so it must be doing something, however I think because I’m not used to something this gentle, I don’t feel like it’s doing anything.
The Body Pudding is the winning product in the range for me! Firstly, this packaging is beautiful, and secondly, the product inside that cute little tub is gorgeous too.
It takes a lot for me to like a moisturiser because I don’t struggle with dry skin on my body, so I don’t feel like it’s a necessity in my beauty regime. This smells lovely, dries in really quickly, and has little pink balls in it that disappear into the skin, which somehow makes this more fun to use. The scent lingers for hours too! I will without a doubt be stocking up on this product, I love it so much!
